We are parents in Macomb County who meet as often as possible to share adult conversation with and without our children. Our goal is to get out of the house and make local friends for ourselves and our kids. We started as a Stay at Home Moms group but we welcome working moms, stay at home dads, and parents in nearby counties. We meet at parks, the zoo, fast food play areas, kids' concerts, the beach, libraries, etc. We have lots of fun and we're always looking for new friends.
There are no dues or fees to join this playgroup. To join our free group, register at the top of this page and post in the general forum. Once you attend an event or meet a group member, you will be given access to the private forum. It is important that we meet people before giving them access to our private information. In the private forum we share personal information about ourselves, post photos of our events and make less structured plans to meet. This setup is an attempt to prevent lurkers, non-parents, and others with dishonorable intentions from intruding on our group.
You MUST attend an event or meet someone in the group who has private forum access within 3 months of joining the group or you will be removed from the group. If this is not possible due to illness, travel, etc., you will have to provide a phone number so I may contact you to dicuss the situation.
I'm Kerry, mom to a son born in 2003. I started this group because I was desperate to make local friends and meet at places that were entertaining for both me and my son.
